- No one on Facebook sees your profile.
- Information like messages you sent to your friends will still be available and visible.
- Your friends will see your name on their friend’s list.
- Admins of groups will still be able to see your posts and comments and also your name.
- You will not be able to log in to oculus with your Facebook account.
That’s it. Note that if your messenger account is still active at the time you deactivated your account on Facebook, the messenger app will still remain active.
How to Deactivate Your Facebook Account
To deactivate your account on Facebook, follow the steps below;
Computer
- Click the drop-down arrow icon in the top right.
- Select settings and privacy from the drop-down and click settings.
- Select your Facebook information in the left column.
- Click deletion and deactivation.
- Next, choose deactivate account.
- Lastly, click continue to account deactivation and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.
iOS App
- Open the Facebook app and tap hamburger in the bottom right.
- Scroll down and tap the settings and privacy option.
- Tap Settings and tap account ownership and control.
- Tap deactivation and deletion.
- Again tap continue to account deactivation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Android App
- Open the Facebook app and tap the menu icon.
- Tap Settings and privacy.
- Next tap settings and select account ownership and control.
- Tap deactivation and deletion.
- Tap continue to account deactivation and follow the instructions to confirm your request.
That’s it. Your account will be deactivated successfully. To reactivate your account, you will have to login back in with your login details.
